Mount Rushmore Trip

The boys had Fall Break on Thurs. and Fri. the 16th and 17th. We hadn't planned on going anywhere, but Thurs. morning Brian calls on his way to a meeting and says we should go to Mt. Rushmore. We had talked about taking the trip someday because it's not that far away, and Brian had never been there. We asked my family if they wanted to come and we got everything together and ended up leaving at 5:00pm. Not the fastest start time. We were in such a hurry we didn't even take an atlas (We figured on using the GPS). We had a great time, though.

First lunch break in Laramie,WY. We were

all ready for a stop. So, we picked the first

spot of grass we found. Right across

from the subway in front of a motel that was pretty

suspect. This fence had a lot of character, though.

Mcdonalds!!
