So, I think we might have waited a little too long to bless Emme.
She was a bit too big for the blessing circle. Satin and a one-handed
hold on a 14lb. baby can get pretty slippery. It was a beautiful
blessing but Brian had to stop in the middle and "adjust"
his hold on Emme because she didn't like being handled
that way (made to lie down)and had started to thrash around.
Luckily it ended without incident, though. We were
waiting for my brother to be ordained an Elder so he could
stand in the circle.
