Fourth of July-Nephi's Carnival

We have such a fun small-town carnival. Lots of rides for the little kids and booths full of games for them to play and win tickets for toys. All the proceeds go to the Scouts in the stake. I love going and watching the boys have fun. Even Emme got in on the rides.

There's a country store where they sell handmade crafts
and a bake sell, with yummy cupcakes and other goodies.

Cotton candy for everyone! Callahan sharing with Liam, and Emme had a taste, too.

How much can you fit in your mouth?

This was the greased pole climb. I'm not sure what they grease it with
but it sure is slippery.

Gotta love the bounce house!

My favorite is getting their hair sprayed different colors,
patriotic of course.

The joust was pretty funny. Watching Abram try and heft the jousting stick was amusing. Callahan didn't even have to try and knock him off. The stick was so heavy, that whenever Abram tried to swing it his own momentum would knock himself over.

Everyboy loves to shoot at stuff. This is the paintball shoot.

Whenever I'd had enough of the rascals, I would send them to the jailhouse.

We had so much fun all day. On the drive home it started raining. There was no rain cloud to be seen but it started poring. It ended up turning ugly later on and the fireworks show had to be cancelled because of the lightning. It was still fun, though. Hope everyone had a happy Fourth!
